Three times a year my family treks out to a secret spot on the Lost Coast and harvests salt straight from the Sea. It is a very special event for all of us. Harvesting salt is special and it meant a lot to me to have taught my son how. Collecting fresh salt is a primative activity that connects you to deep roots. This salt tastes amazing and contains trace monerals and all of the vitamin rich gifts fom our ocean.
